Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants. more details ...
Abstract The component acids of the fats or oils of Pinang mabuk, Monodora myristica, Xylopia aethiopica, Celosia argentea, Anogeissus schimperi, Mangifera indica and Carapa procera were investigated. The acids were determined qualitatively and quantitatively by gas chromatography. The results are compared with those obtained for seeds of other plants of the same families.
