Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants. more details ...
Abstract Fatty acids in the seed oil of Rosa roxburghii were extracted by soxhlet extraction with five solvents(anhydrous ethanol,n-hexane,petroleum ether(60~90 ℃),diethyl ether and acetone). After being methyl esterification catalysed with KOH,the fatty compositions were detected by GC/MS.The results showed that extraction solvents had little effects on the components and contents of fatty acids from R. roxburghii seed oil.The major fatty acids were hexadecanoic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, octadecanoic acid and eicosanoic acid, their average content was 92.3%.
